The first app we ever built for the NHS was this iOS Stop Smoking app. It works by asking the user to input their quit date and how many cigarettes they smoked each day. It then acts as a motivational tool that supports behaviour change by displaying how much money they’ve saved and how many days have elapsed since they quit. It also delivers a daily tip, and smoking facts.

With limited promotion but over 300,000 downloads, it is testament to the fact that sometimes, it’s the simplest ideas that work best!
