From its initial publication in 1858, Gray’s Anatomy has remained one of the world’s bestselling anatomy textbooks.
Antbits are proud to have been the principal illustrators of Gray’s Anatomy since 2001. In 2010, 2 years after the book celebrated it’s 150th anniversary, we were commissioned to design and develop Gray’s Anatomy for iPad.
With thousands of images and text in a variety of formats from a variety of sources, we built custom software to speed the process of software development; but to achieve the resulting polish and top-notch user experience was the result of the painstaking hands-on effort we put into every single page.
